Product Description

The horizontal movement joint profile (TOP) is the upper half of a two-part horizontal movement joint for render and external wall insulation systems. Used together with the matching BOTTOM profile, it forms a controlled joint that lets the render system move without cracking, for example at floor-slab level or where the wall changes substrate.

Application

Install the BOTTOM profile first, then fit the TOP profile above it to form the joint, before basecoating. Embed both profiles into the basecoat and render up to the joint, keeping the joint gap free of render so it can move.
