Product Description

The horizontal movement joint profile (BOTTOM) is the lower half of a two-part horizontal movement joint for render and external wall insulation systems. Used together with the matching TOP profile, it forms a controlled joint that lets the render system move without cracking, for example at floor-slab level or where the wall changes substrate.

Application

Fix the BOTTOM profile along the planned joint line first, then fit the TOP profile above it, before basecoating. Embed both profiles into the basecoat and render up to the joint, keeping the joint gap free of render so it can move.
